been working for the past week.

thursday and friday was working at it/pc show. (:

went to help at anz redemption again.

OMG. madness ok.

the people just come in non-stop. SCARYYYYYYYYYYY!

and i just feel that some people are so damn nasty and horrible!!!

i know the lucky dip was somehow like a 'cheating' game but it wasn't me or melissa who cheated u all but the bank.

sad to say, we were part of the team so we needed to take those blows! *arghhhhhhhhhhhhhs

saturday was a surprise birthday celebration for daphne!

but it rained so heavily and i didn't manage to be there at sentosa in time so i met up with hs and ym at vivo and waited to meet up with the rest.

then we ate the LEFTOVERS! hmpfs! haha. just kidding.

the food still tasted nice especially the cupcakes done by benjamin!! YUMYUM. (((((((((((:

come sunday was the smrt work day for me AGAIN. sianssssssssssssssss.

whoa, the crowd was woots. extremely extremely many!

me and mel hardly can eat our food.

our smoked salmon and potato turned cold when we ate it. )))))))))))))):

lucky gong cha helped us to tong a bit before our gastrics hit us!

anyway, A came down and i was really surprised!

he helped us to get our 'dinner' from sumo salad again. hah!

well, i know he waited for me but i really really don't want to send the wrong message to him anymore.

sugarcane came and picked me up from suntec! SURPRISE!!!!! :D

he sent melissa home then we headed for BOON LAY POWER!

but holly molly! i woke up late on monday morning which i am supposed to sign my contract.

lucky sugarcane sent me to uob plaza!

i'm glad he sent me else i wouldn't be able to make it on time. (((((((((((:

then we had our favourite duck rice at ecp! heehee.

mmm.. i fell asleep again. wahahahahaha. (:

yesterday i needed to accompany madam koh to ikea alexandra to look at wardrobes and sugarcane sent us there!! ((((((:

whee! i'm really happy recently because of his efforts but cannot praise him directly! OOPS.

YAY! madam koh got a wardrobe, a cushion for my seat and a new chair! YIPEEE! (:

and the wardrobe and chair are coming on saturday!

had home cooked food for dinner. happy! (:

i managed to pack some of my old clothes and i think madam koh is quietly happy about it because i FINALLY clear my clothes..

but i am so lazy to complete the packingggggggggggg. OOPS.

and i am meeting melissa in another 12 hours' time! (:

may 28 i went for my sundown marathon.

i ran for 10k with qb, yw, wp, yun, daph.

but only me, wp and yw were on the leisure pace. heee!

we were all tired after the race!

had macs at bedok interchange.

surprising, sugarcane sent me home to change and get ready for the UCL (UEFA Champions League)'s final.

anyway, some things happened and when everything was somewhat ok, we watched the match at st james' the new paper sports bar.

the place was filled with almost 3/4 of pro-MU fanssssss!

but the atmosphere was really nice!

i mean it wasn't that bad an experience afterall having to be the minority gender in that place. HAH.

well, what to do, girls are not into balls! OOPS. (:

we headed home after having bak kut teh as early as 5 plus am in the morning.

breakie or lunch or brunch? HAH.

ok, time for bed. interview at RE again!

went to the plain with melissa yesterday afternoon.

glad she likes the place!

we shared full serve of darling's eggs.

half serve for each. AWESOME!

i had a little too much; ordered another half serve of toasties.

OOPS. gluttony! heehee.

then we headed over to town.

whoa! terrible! we walked so much that we were sooooooooooooo tired!

spent a bit though. mmm.

jus realised uniqlo sells nice brolly! wahahaha.

i definitely will get the black one! :D

but we had a fun day afterall.

today i went to meet the consultant at recruit express (banking and finance division).

it was ok i presume!

had a nice time with the consultant; at least he didnt make me even more nervous than before seeing him. hah.

hope i will hear some good news from him soon.

tml is another one with cherise and monday with nicole.

i think money is my priority now.

woots. back here again, HI!

had dinner at his place.

jus now we were like 2 hungry ghosts, swallowing the food away. HAH.

since i have nothing to do now and he's sleeping soundly away, i guess i will blog.

jus done sending resumes to the job agencies for temp jobs for both of us.

really have no confidence on how much chance we will receive their calls but at least we tried!

my cousins did ask why didn't i go and find a perm job first.

the problem is i don't have adequate confidence to trust that i will clear everything this time!

fm paper, my first, no doubt roger (examiner) did gave us the hints at his revision workshops somehow but i guess the paper was still as tough.

second paper, ma on a BLACK FRIDAY. guessed the assumption of friday the thirteen as a bad day still holds true. HAH.

it was really tough! u jus feel like tearing the paper up after when u are done.

nvm, i thought maybe the next 2 papers will at least be manageable BUT ...... fr. i screwed up the consol P&L.

JK really predicted correctly. P&L this year for us. HOW SAD. i think i have given away that 19 marks.

last paper, audit. the paper is jus different from past year. questions weren't as specific plus the endless writings.

it was jus crazy!

honestly, i understand that UOL has to raise the standard but the papers were really tough.

time management was the key! sighhhhhh.

no matter what, i have done my best! let's wait till september comes and i will know the outcome........

meanwhile, i will enjoy myself and meet up with my friends.

a short breather

whoa! it's been a year plus since i last blogged on this silly blog of mine.

i'm thinking of whether to close down this already or maybe change to another blog address. mmm.

well, i'm jus done with exams not long ago. may 19.

this time round after exams, it's a totally different feeling!

it's like i have been studying all this while jus waiting for may 19 to come!

hopefully i can clear all so that i can successfully have my convo next year in april! (:

went to collect sundown race pack with wp on may 20.

not too bad, it's been quite a while since i have last saw her.

talked a bit here and there but i can somehow sense the awkwardness still. do you?

went to party real hard at shanghai on that night itself.

cos it's like a toast to both me and sugarcane for finishing our exams!

there's champagne, white wine, martell, beer. lucky NO shots, else die even harder! OOPS.

guessed he had a tough time trying to handle a horrible noisy woman after we left the place.

heehee. oops. only he knew how i behaved! (((((:

the next day, saturday, may 21, it was an extremely lazy day for me.

jus like bruno mars: the lazy song,

today i don't feel like doing anything; i jus wanna lay in my bed ............

he went to his primary school friend's chalet so i was home.

hah. weird right, i'm at home on a saturday night! mmm.. it's true!

surprisingly he came to pick me up after he was done! (maybe i have waited for him that's why)

met mork yesterday night for boon lay power nasi lemak (pnl).

the pnl is really powerrrr. pls go and try if u have the chance!

to me why the nasi lemak is so gooooood is because of:

their chilli is nice (not too spicy and not too sweet),

the rice doesn't have the very strong coconut smell, more skewed towards the lovely pandan smell,

the otah isn't extremely spicy as compared with the malay's one,

and their chicken wings - AWESOME!

YUMMMMMM! while i'm describing, i'm drooling already. hehehehe!

then mork suggested to try the vodka that he has at his place.

so the 3 of us chatted along the way to his place, guess what!

we started the political discussion. OMG.

mork has a different mindest from us, should say elitist mentality while sugarcane and i are not so.

we talked, 'fought' our p.o.vs. and drank the vodka that he had promoted!

the vodka has a nice sweet grapey smell but it tasted a little bitter and spicy.

the conversation went on and on and on ...................

to be honest, i got bored and was sleepy! hah, oops!

anyway, after we reached sugarcane's place, i managed to get him to do his resume.

he was pissed cos he had to meet gabe for his run and swim.

ah, don't care. he still got his share of exercise today at gabe's house after lunch! ((((:

our favourite fish soup for lunch! YAY.

then we played kinect!

the sports and dance game were very tiring!

we sweated a lot but it was really fun! :D

i'm hungry now. going to have dinner soon!

was so busy working all this while.

omg. time really flies man!

am currently working at the current workplace for more than a month!

oh well, i had my 24 months' dinner at prive not too long ago.

hmm, what i can say about the place. . .

attentive service,

awesome food and wine,

nice ambience for lovey dovey dinner, i am serious! ((:

was seated in the centre in the whole room. OMG.

enjoyed myself very much at the dinner. THANKS love! :D

later on, the part to go down to zouk and meet sj they all was a little screwed.

anyways, let me move on to melissa's advance birthday celebration on tuesday, 03 august.

had dinner at everything with fries, holland v.

on friday, 06 august, HAPPY BIRTHDAY melissa!

i attended the farewell ktv session at marina country club with sugarcane, cqr, gabe, hx, brenda, richmond, shirleen.

marina country club is a very ulu place.

if you just spend 150 bucks, you will be able to get a room to yourself! (that's if i got the info correct. heh)

so we had a bottle of martell then later on a beer tower.

had fried rice for dinner. LOL.

but i didn't drink much cos of my aunty's visit.

brenda, me and hx were singing while the rest were busy playing card games and dice.

hx left and followed by shirleen.

there was a point where we all played dance music.

sugarcane sang 911! O M G. he sang you know?!!!!!!

but it was fun to see everyone up on their feets and moved along to the music played.

so i joined jade and shawn at the re-entry queue.

lucky they were around else i really don't know what to do!

the queue there is really FARKED UP!

even VIPs had to queue like idiots.

WTH,

seriously, if i am a member there and i needed to wait for the same amount of time that re-entry and new queue people needed to, what for being a member there. right?

so i learnt my lesson.. if you ever get into double o, please DO NOT GO OUT no matter what!

you can go out but before 11pm or earlier else the queue is going to make you lose your temper mann!

FINALLY into double o. qb and daph left shortly after.

so left me and wp. wanted to order a glass of champagne but there wasn't so i somehow made a fuss over it to K.

K treated me 2 glasses of champagne-taste a like kind of drinks.

not too bad i shall say. drinkable and tasted like champagne. (((:

omggg. i woke up at only near 5pm this evening.

so PIG. ha. but who cares. ONLY those few knew about it. hahaha.

reached home at around 7am this morning.

took the FIRST NEL train back to outram and changed train back to the west.

ahhh.

it was just so hard to catch a cab at clarke quay!

why. change shift BIG DEAL is it?!!!

hmpfs! so many people were willing to spend on cab fare but there wasnt any cab willing to take.

and the phone lines of cab companies were busy like mad!

long on-hold times. zzz.

well, maybe it was the 'price' to pay for watching the worldcup outside till late. ha.

watched germany and argentina match at penny black, boat quay.

there were qb, daph, me, wp, cheryl, alvin, nick, nicholas and john joined later.

then qb, daph and nicholas went off to supperclub for friend's birthday.

YAY! german sausages. WOOHOOS.

later, me, wp, alvin, cheryl and nick went to the nearby mac and chilled.

we played daidee to waste time. haaaa.

then man u cafe bar for spain match!

the AWESOME waiter was sucky! really.

DAMN annoying.

so all of us ordered drinks for the sake of ordering. sighh.

the double Js joined us.

things happened in between.

awkwardness. silence. boredom.

in the end, the penalty kicks woke everyone awake!

UNBELIEVABLE and it was FUNNY.

at last, VILLA scored! MEGA happiness! cheers! YES! :D

bill was on nick! uber nice guy to befriend with. (:

i am working again

thursday was my first day of work at menlo.

i reached tradehub really early. like 745am? haha. silly me!

so i sat alone listening to songs at mac. at least there's a place for me to kill my time.

around 8.05am i began to walk over to the building but guess what i still reached office early!

8.15am around there or so.

well, i had lots of things to take note and remember!

people are generally nice and friendly.

had lunch together as a team just as what i was told.

but the rain was so bad that we waited for awhile at ah nam's.

my pumps unfortunately was soaked!

had no choice but to remove them in office. oops.

lucky there wasn't any smell! heehee.

went to jurong point awhile to grab dinner and some kuriya sushi for madam koh.

was pretty exhausted when i got home. watched a bit of tv and slept earlier than last time.

my gosh. i really need to get used to working life again.

on my second day of work which was yesterday, been doing data entry.

HR really alot to learn.

hopefully i can manage when ms k goes on maternity leave.

assistant manager ms c drove us out to west coast for duck rice.

had duck rice, lotus soup and water chestnut drink. loves..

then it rained again! zzz. the weather made office so so cold.

was freezing badly in office.

had dinner at pappa rich.

chicken chop was salty and the spices used weren't that good mixed with the meat! ooops!

still, it was an experience!

yesterday's match was unbelievable!

holland won brazil. omgggg.

tonight: spain vs paraguay, germany vs argentina.

not sure if i heading out to ph to watch the matches though.

was out with melissa and ann soon at haji lane earlier on in the day.

met melissa first. travelled down to bugis together and met ann soon.

they had ya kun while i just drank my cup of ice teh-o. hee.

then we headed over to haji lane..

decent little concept shops here and there.

unique clothes designed by local designers,

blogshops clothes,

specially designed heels and pumps,

limited accessory pieces,

and etcsss.

a little pricey for some of the items sold over there but i guessed thats the price you pay for uniqueness?

as we walked, all of us felt thirsty but i felt hungry!

so in the end we had fish soup.

heh. but the normal fish slice was sold out and i had the fried fish slices.

filled our stomachs,

quenched our thirst,

snapped some photos and back to the shops again to make our purchases!

glad that melissa bought the top she really liked and the black coloured shorts. ((((:

i bought myself a dress.

and we were all finding the accessory shop high and low.

at last, we managed to find it!

mel bought a ring and i bought a ring and necklace.

am i greedy? i supposed so. hahahaha.

then, mel needed to go over to iluma to collect her card and with time to spare, me and ann soon followed.

before i met wp, i still have time so we ended up hanging around parco bugis junction.

went epicentre and saw dennis and kim!

we chatted, laughed and made fun of dennis! OOPS.

it was nice talking with them!

i suppose our presence helped to kill some of their time away from work.

FINALLY wp came!

had duck rice with her. woots. i was pretty hungry by then!

walked around the mall againn.

saw some clothes that i wanted to get but i need to wait for my income to come in first!

cant wait for july to come!! haaa.

then i can spend without so much worrying. but still, need to exercise some SELF-CONTROL!!

monday bluess. i am having it even though i am not working.

why am i so troubled recently..

food served was yummy!

went to bishan, sin ming avenue and had prawning with yl, as, val and mel on tuesday evening.

starting work on 5th july supposedly but was asked to start on 1st instead.

workplace quite near my place.

like wp has said, it will save me quite a lot on transportation.

the building is in between chevrons and tradehub.

met sugarcane on wednesday at town!

heehee. shopping day with him. my goodness. him going shopping with me!!!

he spent 1.5 hours walking around with me in takashimaya and wisma in search of a decent pair of jeans.

in the end found it at GAP.

and he bought me tshirt, dress and a skirt from bershka. :D

had kurobuta set meals from tonkichi. YUM YUM. (:

actually not really working. was nua-ing in the office.

paid for doing nothing except yesterday.

i went down to ntuc building where microsoft office is located at.

wow! i am so damn impressed with their huge pantry!

MNC is indeed a MNC. their pantry must be bigger than others. ha.

i was eyeing their drinks in the fridge. so nicely packed and there's a vast variety!!

was doing packing and labelling on behalf of microsoft.

hope tml will be a busy day! heh. at least time can pass by faster.

ooh, on wednesday, orchard was flooded. omggg. like so weird la.

i thought it was a joke when wp told me cos i wanted to head down with sugarcane to do some shoes shopping.

in the end it was for real and the plan to shop at town was cancelled.

so, we went to tamp 1 and tm in the end.

he bought me a pair of shoes for work this weekend.

he doesnt want me to feel the aches again. heehee!

as usual, had sushi tei for dinner.

been sending out resumes days after days.

no replies so far. so sad!

'desperately' need a job asap else i will be soon broke!

apart from all this job seeking / hunting, i sometimes wonder why would people change so much.

do people change for the sake of changing to adhere to the environment needs or they are own themselves and have hid their true colours back in the old days.

i also want to change, but can i?

i want to change my set of clothes in my wardrobe.

been wanting to change my style of dressing since god knows when but still to no avail.

it sucks whenever i think about it. sigh.

it is not easy, definitely.

i wanted to blog yesterday but was too tired to do so.

had laksa as lunch with melissa at holland village.

as for post lunch dessert, we had cold rock.

choose it, mix it and smash it!

went to ikea alexandra for the chicken wings and hotdogs!

the chicken wings were really HEAVENLY but sinful cos of all the oil and deep frying.

WHOOPS! (:

i didnt know until yesterday. so silly of me. hahaha.

at one go, i finished one hotdog but i craved for the second but i couldnt finish the bun!

so wasteful.. but what to do. heh.

then i headed over to his place.

saw the tired sugarcane lying on his bed comfortably.

he was really happy to see the tshirt i bought for him and the size fits. YAY!

guessed we must have missed each other quite a fair bit! (((((:

YES, i am hereby proud to say that I MISS YOU, SUGARCANE!

today afternoon, went over to melissa's place for a short while!

been quite long since i have visited her place.

we ate lunch together,

registered for stand chart (trying out half marathon this year),

omgg.. its been ages since i have really blogged.

YES! exams were done, like FINALLY, on 27th may.

went to orchard with sugarcane.. surprisingly.

well, he had an aim so he would definitely complete it no matter what.

bought a LV bag for his mom.

the bag needed a lot more care than mine! ha.

had sushi tei at paragon. lotsa people.

quality dropped somehow but still, his little sweet moments warmed my heart and ended my day! (:

headed to his place after dinner.

glad that his mom loves the bag. (: at least i knew that he was real happy to see his mom's reactions.

later that night, we went clarke quay.

as usual, rebel and lunar. martell, chivas, beer, jager bombs, kamikaze shots etcssss.

we were both really high at the end. nonetheless, we managed to reach home safely!

went to temple with my mom the next day.

real tired. didnt have enough rest. headache and all. what to do..

had supper later on with him, gab and cqr at katong village. old hongkong cafe.

yes, its been a long time since me and him had gone there for suppers.

the waitress still recognised us. ha!

comes saturday, 29th may, sundown marathon! race the night, beat the sunrise.

well, all i can say its that the event can never beat stand chart's planning and organisation though it was rather easier to run sundown's 10km than stand chart's.

maybe cos there wasnt ecp-rochor that up-slope. oops!

the shuttle bus service was bad, queue was super ultra long when me and mel reached pasir ris.

its like wth, those who werent suppose to be at the race site so early yet they came and wasted the opportunities for other runners who were supposedly need to reach the site earlier.

and so, after considerations, we took cab. god knows. that bloody driver didnt know how to go there.

so we asked the driver to follow the cab in front and guess what, both cabs were lost and stuck in traffic jams.

ding-dong here and there, re-routed and finally, the ultimate destination but we reached almost an hour later than the flagoff time!!

not only that, we paid extra extra cab fare. 36 bucks! LOL.

we ran, talked, laughed and took shuttle bus service back to pasir ris.

had mac for dinner or should i say supper. hah.

took cab back home again. this time worse. 45 bucks inclusive of mel's destination.

omggg. all in all, 80 over bucks on cab fare alone! alamak.

am wondering if there's another round of sundown for me next year. . .

hmm, rushed to clarke quay on the same night. yes, after sundown marathon.

my legs were aching and i was really tired but i did that out of love. ha!

sounds so disgusting right! nah, actually i wanted him to enjoy himself before he heads back to camp for ICT on monday, 31st may.

i am happy to see him happy at rebel! (: at least i didnt rush down for nothing..

went to his grandmother's place for lunch on sunday afternoon.

just beehoon and chrysanthemum tea. very nice. first time there!

had my mani and pedicure done later in the evening / night time.

met mel on monday afternoon.

lunch at ps kopitiam,

catched sex and the city 2 movie,

shopping around 313,

dinner at 313 yoshinoya,

had milkshakes at ouam new outlet,

then shopping again at cine.

eventful monday wasnt it? totally love your company, mel!! (:

he seemed real busy on the first day back at his home camp.

countable messages and calls from him.

was quite worried though.

maybe it was the missing feeling. pardon me for being a little lovey-dovey here.

i mean i missed talking him freely. hes going to be back at camp for 2 weeks.

shows that i took his presence for granted. so wrong of me.. right?

hopefully i can get to see him for awhile laterrr.

since i am blogging, might as well blog about what has happened yesterday afternoon. (:

went to velocity with sugarcane.

had our japanese food from ichiban boshi for lunch. a late lunch though.

walked around in search of my pair running shoes.

he said velocity has the widest range of sports related stuffs.

well, we tried the adidas store.

too bad, they didnt have my size and the salesperson told us to go vivocity instead.

a long journey man. from velocity to vivocity. lucky mr lazy didnt complain!

i was the one who was disappointed. oops.

indeed, the adidas store at vivocity had more collections.

FINALLY, i settled on adistar ride.

mr lazy got his pair as well due to some misunderstanding with the pricing.

in addition, i got my running shorts! yipee! (:

its been a long time since i have actually updated my blog.
maybe cos i am real lazy to update it, else i think that nobody actually bothers to read my blog so why should i even bother to update it. ha!

well, i had a taste of how UOL exam is like. i must say, NOT nice!

just finished my prelims on 17th. main exam is in may.
i have less than 2 months to prepare though.
hmm, lucky i went for the prelims and it got me started on revising my units.
3 hours paper may seem like the time given was too much? i
ts actually not when you knew your stuffs pretty well cos you knew that there were things for you to pen them down on the answer booklets.

one funny thing happened on my pbf paper.
i was so sotong that i handed in my question paper instead of the answer booklet to the invigilator but in the end i managed to give the answer booklet.
real joke isn't it?!
edmund and jeekeng saw. they both laughed quite badly.
so silly of me right? blur to the max!

all this while, i have been partying whenever possible.

been too foolish to think that i have the time in this world to do my revision.

soon, its time to buck up and mug for the main papers in may, else i would be real disappointed with myself!

where's the hardworking me, i often asked myself this question.
is it because i don't have the right company to study together?
i know uni life is kind of lonely and boring but having the appropriate company to mug and strive for good results is important as well.

maybe if i really did happen to appear earlier, things might be really different now. i know i haven't been my usual self lately, i am beginning to doubt myself.
i agree with what u.l. have told me, life has a funny way of screwing you.
i thought i could handle the different mix of emotions but i think time has proven me wrong.
as time goes by, the more i cant be sure of what i really want.

24/12/09 ---
mayfong and mayyan's 21st birthday!
met ah fong at cityhall mrt station and then we took train together to somerest.
ha! i thought i was going to be so late cos of the hangover from ladies nightt.
it turned out to be everyone's late as well. heehee.
unfortunately, jelene wasnt able to join us. :(
we all wanted to sing so badly so ah fong decided to make a reservation at cine kbox.
heh! photos were uploaded by derrick already. mine coming soon! (though not alot)
hahaha! had loads of fun singing, taking photos with digi cams and polaroid and of cos ah fong was happily unwrapping her gifts! :D
think she loves our gifts! wahahaha.
had dinner at xing wang hongkong cafe. (:
after dinner, we were walking aimlessly from cine to taka, but realising loads of youngsters were holding cans of foam in their hands and the crowd was terrible!
so we headed back to plaza sing that direction.
when we were finally at starbucks, derrick helped me to order my favourite drink,
chilled milk with caramel! THANKS~ (: while i was on the phone with sugarcane.

YAY! congrats to everyone who have completed the race in the selected category! :D

especially THANKS to melissa who encouraged, cheered and ran with me for 10km! ((((((:

it was definitely harder than the nike human race.

the up slope at ecp near rochor road exit was a killer for me man!

i didnt run for sure. i walked it through. wahahaha!

though it was just 10km, i felt i did something impossible again this time!

i didnt train for stand chart. just hoping the nike human race can helped me! heehee.

ooh ya, it was my first time joining stand chart as a runner!!

had mac at funan with melissa, lionel, audrey and two other guys.

a meal to replenish for all the energy used up for the race! (:

learnt how to blend the milkshakes for the first time.

was really hard! guessed me and ah fong were really slow for the orders!

had to judge the amount of milk to be poured in and mixed with the scoops of ice cream.

wed was a full shift for me. worked till eleven plus.

mr panda two came down to visit me after his test. he had mini mocha! heehee.

though he insisted to send me home but it didnt happen because i sent him away to meet his group of friends who were still at tiong bahru.

most embarrassing thing happened!

i forgot to take my phone with me when i left ouam in a hurry for fear that i might missed the last train back home.

mr panda two was laughing his ass off while we were taking train back to ouam and then walked back to take train home!

fondue choices werent alot though.

the guys aimed at the drunken prawns but me and hui xin couldnt eat them cos of allergies.

well, i still ate one! sugarcane peeled for me though! :))))

instead, me and hui xin aimed at the salmon sashimi. hahahaha.

later we headed over to plaza sing and watched 2012.

the movie was worth watching but it was quite long. two and half hours.

had dinner at tao's restaurant.

7-course meal. was really FULL after the whole course.

well.. i must say the past few days were really a test for me.

i am glad i have friends who really stood by me when i needed that extra pillar of support.

today is my first day working part time with nike.

i know he is making efforts to spend more time with me before he goes to taiwan.

as usual, had my poa lesson from 12pm tp 3pm.

met up with st sista to go to town before meeting the rest of them at heeren.

st sista gave me the gift shared by shikin, herself and wei qiang. (:

when we were about to take bus to town, sugarcane called and asked where i am etcs.

he asked me to wait for him in school and he would be coming to fetch me to town.

his location then was at orchard. (:

well, i dont mind he come to fetch me but he got lost somehow.

patience is a virtue, so we waited for him.

when he reached, he asked me to go to the car boot.

there i saw the gucci!

i was really surprised.... but BIG THANKS to him! :D

while he was driving, i was opening up the gift.

when we reached orchard, we went around walking.

we were in search of wp's gift. (: glad we found and bought it.

hope she likes it! (: then, at 730pm, the rest came.

waraku japanese casual dining was our dinner.

when we were all done with our dinners, the surprise cake came along!

though i ate it all up, i was really very happy!

in fact, it was the first cake in my week of celebrations. THANKS again to melvin and all!!!!!! (:

after such a filling meal, we went to party world at shenton way.

there, we sang, drank and with me unwrapping the layers of wrappers for my gift.

this was the FINAL outcome when i unwrapped all the layers!

wednesday 16.o9.o9 (THE ACTUAL DAY!)

heeeeeee! YAY! the day i am officially 21!!!!! (:

i woke up real early and was anxious about getting my hair styled.

met rain at 11am but i was a little late. :x

was worrying if i could actually get my hair done by noon before meeting sugarcane.

lucky rain was competent enough! hahaha. managed to be done at noon. (:

had japanese buffet lunch at fullerton hotel, the courtyard.

when both of us were seated, a plate of sashimi, grilled salmon, chawanmushi, tempura and miso soup were being served.

after we were almost done with the food served to our table, we were quite full already.

there wasnt much variety in the sushi according to sugarcane.

we ordered another plate of sashimi and chawanmushi. (:

had the cheese cake and watermelons as our dessert.

the cheese cake was superb! :D

then, sugarcane suggested to watch movie.

since i am officially 21, he asked me to buy the tickets for r21 movie.

hahaha. we watched diary of a sex addict!

then initially, dinner with his mom to swa garden was the plan.

it was cancelled in the end.

but, we headed to boat quay to meet uncle sam, neo and ben instead.

there, played card games and drank.

had my second cake! uncle sam, neo and ben bought it for me!

heee. sang a few songs with uncle sam. too bad, sugarcane could only sing when he was high on alcohol. LOL.

made new friends. vivian, leonard and another guy. (:

at last, uncle sam drove me and sugarcane to clarke quay while the rest headed home.

me and sugarcane didnt stay too long at rebel.

it was me who bugged him to go home for the FIRST time!

guess when martell kicked in, it was no joke for me!

hahaha. but all in all, we reached home safely! :D

met laypheng for lunch.

i was craving for duck rice.

the one we usually ate when i was at bns back then.

the twins didnt come for lesson.

it was a pity that socks didnt come!

manhanttan fish market at plaza sing was the meeting venue.

had a really full dinner.

the beautiful yellow coloured mango cake was another surprise!

lucky enough, we got seats cos it was a saturday and we didnt make prior booking.

we ordered game combos.

yesterday i met up with shuting sista at jurong point..

it was a wonderful night with rachelle on last friday at rebel!

frankly speaking, she danced not that bad. THANKS to her for coming back to rebel and danced with me though she, her boyfriend and his friends went over to arena. :D

well, i was quite silly this morning. i actually wanted to go suntanning alone but jurong area was raining and when i reached outram, i called ah yan to help me check the weather forecast for sentosa. the forecast only showed for the next 3 hours (9am to 12pm) and it showed that sentosa's weather was cloudy. so i headed home.. haha! so silly right?

i am back for updates!

WARNING -- LONG ENTRY!

i am finally freed from reports, deadlines, overtimes!

my last day was on 7th may.

why i wanted to quit.. many people have asked me about it.

here i go with my reasons...

1. i am starting school in june so i wanted to rest for awhile and then freshen up my mind and get ready for school.
2. i don't have a nice colleague to work hand-in-hand with. she's insane. i just can't stand her attitude. :x
3. i feel tired working.

let me update you guys about what i have done so far in may alright..

1st may (labour day) -- nothing much happened. just another holiday. no work! but poor rachelle, she has to work cos of reports.

2nd may -- i went to carousel for the high-tea buffet with lay pheng at royal plaza on scotts. the ambience was nice and it just made me want to stay there for as long as i could. heh. not a bad range of food displayed. there's nonya quehs, chocolate fondue, laksa, pizzas, sushi, sashimi.. too bad i didnt take the photos of them. nice time with her. first time out with her though.. and she accompanied me to buy a watch. :) i didn't really eat much though but i reall enjoyed the environment there. who wants to go there, please tell me! :)

3rd to 6th may -- working again. finishing up my remaining reports. :x ooh.. i bought bakerzin cakes for my agm and department colleagues and pre-packets for lay pheng, lady boss and pearlyn. ooh ya.. amy from TS treated me for lunch on tues. we went to republic plaza's ishin and had japanese food.

7th may -- THE DAY! i wore the dress i bought with the money bns gave me. i met up with rachelle before going to work and collected my pre-order rolls from polar. i ordered 50 rolls (10 coffee-peanut, 10 strawberry, 10 chocolate rice, 10 eclair and 10 sugar rolls-5 w/o sugar). haha. too much already! they didn't finish up. :( after work, i went to fish and co at park mall. that glass house there with ivan and rachelle. me and rachelle ordered one seafood platter for 2 and ivan ordered the best fish and chips. we drank cocktails. my face was damn red after drinking that! so shy~ i went down to sugarcane's army chalet at downtown east. i was super tired! i saw the other side of the guys who were drunk! they danced mambo! they literally treated the stoned-table as the bar top. mambo songs on and on.. its just so eye-opening! they were so drunk cos of sugarcane's otard! otard is super strong.. poor them! i didn't really drink much. :)

8th may -- i went to kushin-bo at suntec with my department colleagues plus soo min. it was my first time having japanese buffet! the crabs were super sweet. ^^ love their ice-cream, cakes and desserts. :D connie, lady boss, ah min and lp were nice to me. they kept giving me food and asking me to eat! lp and ah min helped me to unshell the crab! so nice~ :) i didn't take photos of the place and food again. haha. oops! there's special hour. its cute to hear the kushin-bo song and the ringing of the bell. heh. should try the buffet.. remember to book! :) then i went down to jiahuei's chalet at downtown east with sugarcane, met up with ah fong, ah yan and bernard there. it was the night for close friends so its quite quiet.. the five of us then headed down to simpang bedok and had our supper there. sugarcane sent the three of them back to chalet while both of us headed home.

9th may -- i went to jiahuei's chalet again but without sugarcane. dorine and leonard came! there were quite a fair bit of liquors! after the bbq, eating, cutting of cake, me, the twins and dorine went back to the room first. we started the drinking first. it was absolute vodka peach with green tea. quite sweet and fruity but ah yan didn't like it. then jiahuei's brother, her cousins came and leonard came too. the whole drinking session started.
before i begin, wonder how come sugarcane wasn't with me? he was at his junior's 21st birthday. he went from his house to nsrcc's jazz pub.
okay.. we played zhong ji mi ma. i didn't really drink much cos it was the rest who kept hitting the jackpot! when the game of 007-bang started, that's when i drank alot. it was absolute vodka 100 with coke at first. then was absolute vodka raspberry with coke i think. the person who mixed it was super good cos the drink was nice! there isn't much vodka initially but later the cup was filled with 3/4 vodka. i continued to play 5-10-15 with jiahuei's bro and i drank really alot when i played the game with him. well, the ending was terrible! i puked. dead drunk! GONE was the word to describe me. so embarrassed! the feeling of throwing up was bad cos of the burning sensations in my throat and stomach! :( ah yan was drunk too. her FIRST TIME! sugarcane came and picked me up from the chalet. he was super upset and pissed! but thank god, he came and sent me home! so ladies, please don't drink so much at others' chalet! lesson learnt was that i needed to control myself the next time.

11th may -- sugarcane was on off. and that's the best time to settle his SIM things. accompanied him to RELC and SIM to settle the payments. its all settled now! :D

12th may -- lunch with uncle frank and rachelle at bugis MOF. nice and relaxed lunch cos i didn't have to rush back to office like before. i could enjoy my food better. had tea at toast box. went to temple with rachelle. prayed for awhile and then i accompanied her back to orq. i went back to bns to collect my file. it was so rushed on my last day that i didn't really finish packing and took back all my things. jk was surprised to see me! heh. i didn't tell my department that i am going back. :) she permed her hair! so different from her straight hair.. headed home after staying awhile in the office. i completed something that i wanted to do for so long.. which is to clear my wardrobe. i cleared out 3 bags full of clothes! hahaha.

13th may -- currently updating my blog. idling. :) events coming up.. friday i might be going to zirca with rachelle to attend some fearless female party organized by class 95 fm. saturday i am playing badminton with ah fong, ah yan, bernard and jelene (tbc).

well.. i guess this blog is left untouched for a long long period.

hmm.. just had bak kut teh for dinner. sin heng one. around katong.

i just had a bad week at work.. time for me to rest for the weekends and get charged for the upcoming week!

work is never easy, study as well.. so i am wishing to those who are mugging hard for their exams ALL THE BEST!!

i shall say things that happened in the month of april.

so i start with the first week of april.. mon, wed, fri and sun he is having duty so i am already quite bored. well, there are reports to keep me company. ha!

went to james chalet on sun (5th april). not bad.. get to catch up with my secondary school friends for a little. :)

come second week, there is aimer's chalet for me to look forward to. went there after work on 9th april.

had bbq food and drank a little.

played guitar hero for the first time! knew some new friends.

went to new butterfac on sat (11 april) at one fullerton with sugarcane and met ah fong, ah yan, juan and ling there.

they are a bunch of nice girlfriends! have a really great time dancing and drinking with them.

took quite a lot of photos. shall upload when i got them.

and.. i kissed juan! hahaha.

sugarcane was there to witness! oops. :x

ooh ya, i tendered on 8th april.

third week with the weekdays just passed, had shitty week at work.

problems after one and another.

cashflow reported wrongly,
margin of the borrowers kept changing,
kept having overtime. :(

thursday.. lucky she talked to me. made me feel much better. thanks again!!

i thought friday was the day for me to go out but things just didnt turned to be as planned.

i was really bored. super bored but lucky she is around to keep me company through smses.

well.. weekends are here once again! so i am going to relax myself.

my last day is 7th may, so peeps find me to go out okay!! catch ups..

yay. my salary has increment. not alot but its just nice enough to give myself a pat on the shoulders for what i have done over the past few months in the company.

met up with wp.
far east doesnt have ljs anymore. :(
so we went to lido's mac to have our dinner.
have really nice conversations with her.
we laughed with each other...
its just so nice after so long!
then headed back to far east.
we walked and shopped around.
she was my stylist! hahaha.
really thanks for the company! :)
though its short, we managed to catch up.
and.. the best thing is she liked the bag i gave her! :D
after we parted, i went to find him and his friend at onetwentysix.
we chilled and talked.
caramel apple martini is nice. sweet and not too strong. better than the one at cafe del mar.

friday night (14 nov), went to chill at cafe del mar with mork, edith and sugarcane.

sat (15 nov), went to watch the last match of S-League at bedok stadium with sugarcane..
then, went to watch madagascar 2 at the cathay.

sun (16 nov), went to run with sugarcane at bedok reservoir park.. tiring man. so damn long never run liao. suddenly finishing 4.3km is an achievement to me liao. hahaha.

i am on leave again. for 17 and 18 nov.

seriously i dont know what to do for this leave.......

so sian.. is it really so hard to balance everything?

yesterday lunch, i FINALLY had the xia mian that sugarcane said was superb and famous.

the tram ride was pretty boring but there was a part where all the people who are dressed up as ghostly figures came and scared the people sitting in the tram.

it was scary but fun and lame.

i admit i did scream and laugh like a siao zha bor. oops.. :))

yesterday i went to msq instead of town.

dinner was supposed to eat xia mian but the shop closed when we drove past there.

so, we ended up eating at msq food loft.

1. change my attitude

after several talks with him, i realised how badly i have treated him.
i realised i was the one who is being unreasonable, immature.
he was nice enough to tolerate my attitude.
i need to change before it is too late.
now that, i am going to be 20 in one week, i have to be more matured.
stereotyping is bad.
showing unnecessary attitude at the wrong time is bad.
maybe i got too pampered by him and i am taking him for granted.. that is bad!
so.. it is time for me to change.. for the better! :)

i just dont want to lose him. he is someone special in my life now.. so i got to change myself.

2. save money

i need to save more money..
have to think for the future.

to me, saving money is the hardest. but i will try.

3. work hard

the days ahead are getting harder..
cos there is more work to do.
i have to work hard cos i am still on probation till oct 23rd.

so fast.. last day of the month of august and i have been working for more than 1 month plus already. i was able to enjoy a peaceful month end this time cos it is not the quarter month end and its just a normal month end. lucky me! :)

well, working life is super tiring and boring. its not like the past anymore.. any day of absence from work requires MC. its just so different from studying. when you want to pon, just pon and let your class rep knows and he/she will know what to do. hee.

everything is about stress.. but when you are in workforce, the stress you have is much much more. anyway, i am look forward to next month.. haha. if you all know what i mean. hee. :)

hmm, i woke up quite today actually. in fact, i slept and woke up and slept again. super super lazy and tuang on bed. heh.

i am going out with my mum later. whee~ its been a long time since i go out with her..

okay, let me talk about the friday night i have?

friday night........
i ended work not too late. :)
went home, bathed and changed out.
went to bedok north and find him.
waited for him to get ready..
later went over to 85 market to eat.
then, drove down to east coast park, onetwentysix.
me and sugarcane reached there first while waiting for his friend, mork and his gf.
apparently, when they came, mork brought 4 more ppl.
in total, we were a group of 8 ppl.
at onetwentysix, there wasnt any big table to accommodate us so we left.
off we went to the thai disco above the mac at east coast park.
damn! i would never go there again.
there super alot of thai girls la.
they were, no doubt, hot. but the way they dance, a lil kuang zhang. =x
then, there was this guy who wore super tight clothings where his .... is already showing.
the way he dance and everything were just so disgusting.
but all in all, its just another experience for me.
we left not long after cos of most of us couldnt stand it. oops.

start of another week

monday again~
guess i had monday blues.
wasnt really concentrating in the beginning.
was super sleepy and tired.
my bad, slept really late last night. oops.
while working, ad hoc stuffs came along the way.
was even more stressed than before.
lucky today ended on the dot. heehee.
went to bedok to find sugarcane.
no car, bo bian, have to take public transport.. but i am okay with it! :)
upon reaching bedok, rain started.
super sian.. everyone crowded at the bus stop.
bus is more crowded than usual.
managed to meet up with him.
dinnered.
walked around the neighbourhood.
cab home.

though time is short today, it was nicely spent with your presence..

i am updating the previous entry. :)
plan was to meet at somerest mrt at 1030 but everyone was late.
met up with derrick first and headed off to cineleisure k box.

mayfong and aimer came shortly after.

ate chicken teriyaki bento set for lunch.
sang quite a few songs.
angela zhang,
jolin tsai,
SHE,
tank,
chao ge,
many more.
classic song that everytime k box session will have is lian ai-ing by mayday.
nevertheless, jay songs were sang too. :D
actually, our k lunch session is till 2pm but cos we ordered the jug of lemon tea,
there was an extension of another hour.
its a pity that derrick had to leave earlier cos he needed to visit his friend at sgh.
so left me, the lightbulb with the couple.
haha, we sang till 3 plus.
this time round, the staff didnt chase us out.
amazing right? hee.
next was the shopping.
i wanted to get a new bag for work so did miss chua.
there isnt any bag that i fancied.
hmm, in the end i bought a gift for sugarcane instead.
with mayfong and aimer's help, i decided on a wallet that is the same colour and brand as mine. :)
some unhappiness happened between the couple.
things were back to normal for them later on.
i went off to meet sugarcane.
lucky enough, i managed to meet him before the rain poured.
drove to the east to pump petrol.
dinnered at din tai fung.
had xiaolongbao,
fried spinach with garlic,
soup noodles with fried pork chop,
shrimp fried rice,
shrimp pork dumpling.
gentle reminder to ppl heading to that restaurant to eat their famous xiaolongbao,
eat them while they are steaming hot and just served at your table.
if not, they wont taste as good.
the skin of the baos dries up quite fast..
sugarcane and me sat at starbucks and used his laptop to serve the net.
well, he was actually trying to get me to fix a typo error i commited in my previous previous entry.
so now i have to constantly remind myself of my spelling already.
tiring job. haha
sugarcane drove me home earlier than usual cos he had to book in for camp..
anyway, tml is another start of another week.

tried egg plaster prata and mee goreng with mutton (though i didnt eat the mutton).
headed home.
eh, i am still currently awake so i decided to update my blog.
actually my desktop crashed again. not sure what really happened.
lucky i borrowed his laptop. :)
in a few hours time, i am going to meet mayfong and derrick to sing at cineleisure.
quite excited, cos its a different clique. :)

okay.. let me update about yesterday night and today night first.

15 august 2008 and 16 august 2008
well, i ended work quite on time yesterday.
sugarcane came and pick me up from work.
then, i went home to bathe and eat a little before meeting him again.
dinnered at jurong point's crystal jade.
went off to park his car at his house's car park.
cab down to butterfactory.
its a pity that i didnt went in there, cos too many ppl alr. had events there yesterday night.
went to st james in the end.
drank quite a fair bit.
drunk.
puke for the first time. :(
its nice that he's around to take care of me.
its sad for him that he cant drink much (cos he wants to take care of me, thats what he claims).
had hangover.
slept till really late at his house.
ordered pizza for late lunch.
headed off to my home first and then to the theatre.
his car got a little dent at the driver's seat so his car is going for repair for the next few days.
guess i will be watching meet dave. well, be back for more updates!

work work work.
got to knock off from work quite on time these few days.
monday went home straight.
tuesday, had dinner at mac.
wednesday, went to find him at his house.
had dinner at bedok road.
ate mushroom and cheese prata with ice tea limau.
tried roti john.
superb food. :D
thursday, dinnered at east coast food centre.
ate stingray, sotongs, vege and best is the chicken wings! haha.

hmm, let me update about national day and 10 august 2008!
dinnered at raffles city kuriya.
great ambience.
great salmon sashimi.
had fried scallops and mushrooms with butter.
tried a little of his beef fillet. tasted really tender. oops, i dont eat beef actually. bleh.
green tea cheesecake and grilled ice cream were dessert.
went to arab street with him, wilson and his girlfriend.
wilson's girlfriend left shortly.
was bored to death, cos the guys were happily shisha-ing.
lucky wp called me at the right time. :))
watched the love guru at plaza singapura.
nice comedy. worthwhile to catch it if you still havent watch it.
headed off to old hong kong restaurant at east area to have some breakfast.
its time for some sleep.
met him for dinner.
went to parkway parade.
a new perfume scent from him. :)

recently i have been spending time with sugarcane. by far, i am really very happy with him.
wonderful experiences with him. beautiful memories. different dining experiences.

well, i miss hanging out with you ppl. especially weiping.
i miss melissa, shuting sista, huisan, yanmei, mayfong, derrick and loads more.
